Hi Rob,
When I go to the Dashboard > Locked IP Addresses and click on Unlock, I get a message saying “The selected IP entry was unlocked successfully!”, but the IP address remains on the locked list.
When you unlocked an IP address, it will have a different date under Release Date column to the Date Locked column.
The following information should help you.
- “Unlock” = Unlock will release the locked status and hence allow that IP address to access the site again. (However the row containing that IP address will still remain in the login_lockdown DB table).
- “Delete” = Delete will also allow access for that IP address but this is because the row entry for that IP address is totally deleted from the login_lockdown DB table.
Let me know if you need more information or help.
Kind regards

Hi @mbrsolution — thanks for your reply.
I did notice that the ‘release date’ was in the past, ie. the IP address should have been unlocked, but wasn’t.
And just to clarify, I wasn’t just concerned about the address remaining on the list, but it actually remaining locked.
Anyway, I’ve just logged into the site, and the address has now disappeared from the locked list and my colleague can again access the site, so all seems well. If this happens again, I’ll come back to report.
Thanks,
Rob
