backend messages Advanced Ads

Hi,

Thank you for Advanced Ads, I think it is a great plugin. However, since I installed it I am getting these ‘promotional’ messages from advanced ads in the backend (“Welcome to” etc… ). I try to erase them, but they keep coming back.

This is a bit obtrusive if you’d ask me. Will getting the PRO-version solve this?

Hi Erik,

thanks for your feedback.

I would not like it myself if I weren’t able to close those messages. Most of them are designed to not come back again. However, it is possible that a conflict with another plugin or the theme might prevent the script from working properly.

Would you be able to take a look into the error console of your browser to see if there are any issues? You can follow this tutorial for that.

Thank you Thomas. Personally, I am getting these messages in the console:

plugins.php:47 GET https://www.mydomain.eu/wp-content/plugins/advanced-ads/admin/assets/css/admin.css?ver=1.13.5 net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

GET https://www.mydomain.eu/wp-content/plugins/advanced-ads/admin/assets/js/admin-global.js?ver=1.13.5 net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

plugins.php:77 GET https://www.mydomain.eu/wp-content/plugins/advanced-ads/admin/assets/js/advertisement.js?ver=1.13.5 net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

But I am not the only one.. other people with access to the backend, from different locations, experience the same..

Yes I do, probably most of us do. Could that cause the messages to stay put? (oh, the irony 😉

Hi Erik, yes, that would cause scripts to break. Not just for Advanced Ads but anything that has “ad”, “ads”, “banner” or something similar included 🙂
