Problem upgrading from 2.7.1 to 2.8.2

    Hello All!

    I’m using WordPress 2.7.1 and I’m trying to version 2.8.2 using automatic upgrade. I was able to copy the site and the database to my local server and do the upgrade without any problem.

    My problem with upgrading the orginial blog is that after chosoing settings for FTP server and clicking Continue – a blank screen appears and no error warning is displayed.

    I tried disabling plugins and deleteing .htaccess and it didn’t help.
    Any ideas?
