This plugin is really slowing down my website.
According to GtMetrix it is adding at least 3-5 seconds to the page load times because of SlimStat using Admin Ajax.

Whenever I disable it, the load times come back to normal.

This plugin is excellent and very useful but this issue has to be resolved otherwise it will be disable from my website. I really do not want to disable it so what should I do?

I am also using WP Rocket for caching.

    Thank you for your help

    Hi @fmh2016

Please note that the Ajax request, needed to track your user activity (since you’re caching your website), is asynchronous and will be executed AFTER most of your web page has been rendered by the browser. So, the time your tools are measuring is not most probably affecting the actual load time. Unless you have other code that is moving the Slimstat tracker to the HEAD section of your page (unlikely). You can also tweak the settings (see Maintenance tab) to increase your db performance, even though that will require 30% more db space.

Please let me know if this answers your concerns.

    Best,
    Jason
