How to use the old admin bar?

    I have replaced the old admin bar with wordpress.com admin bar. Now I want to back and use the previous admin bar, but don’t know how to do that?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hey,
    Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean. You’re referring to the admin bar that only shows when logged in, correct? What process did you use in retrieving the wordpress.com admin bar?

    Yes, that’s correct. It shows My Site and Reader on the left side. Then on the right side shows Write. The normal admin bar just disappears because I have changed it some time ago. But now I want it back, but just don’t know how to switch back?

    In your admin if you go to users > your profile is the box checked for “Show Toolbar when viewing site”

    Are you using Jetpack? If so my best guess is that it’s a setting in jetpack.

    Hi Ben,

    You’re right. The setting is in Jetpack. I am now able to switch back to the old admin bar. Thank you very much for your help. I will close this topic now.
