Oxygen templates – categories not visable

My situation:

I needed to define a page as of different language, because some elements were not translated and I were not able to do it manually, so I used the polylang plug-in. This fixed the elements that did not translate.

My current problem:

On the blog posts that I am trying to create I have a section that displays the blog posts from the same category of trips. The problem with this is that when I created the new categories with the polylang plug-in I was no longer able to select them with the oxygen editor for the filtering. When I select the language the posts still appear even in oxygen.
