• Hi all,

Im wondering if you could help me.
I used to be easily able to make basic edits to my website via the standard visual editor. Now it seems to have changed to a non user friendly version that is all code and is basically impossible for me to use without coding skills. There is some option to use WordPress bakery but I can’t seem to understand how to get it into operation or not sure if I have to pay for this service.

Anyways I cant attach pics here of what it looks like but if anyone has any advice where I could turn to to start finding out how I can get back to being able to make simple website changes like dates and prices etc that would be much appreciated. Or advice on whether I approach WordPress or my theme provider called Yaga on this one?

    best,

    Nick

Are you referring to the new Block Editor (Gutenberg) that came with WP version 5+?

If you are using the block editor like t-p suggests, click the small 3 dots in a column icon at upper right, then pick “Visual Editor”.

If there is no 3 dot icon, you are not using the block editor. To convey screenshot images to users here, I suggest you use https://snag.gy/ and post the resulting link here.

Don’t worry about WP-Bakery right now, at least until we can get you out of code edit mode and figure out what editor you really are using.
