2.8.x Links / Categories

    Ever since upgrading to 3.8.1 my links and categories widget no longer function and will not even show in my sidebar. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and/or know how to resolve it. They are enabled and I’ve tried every option available to try and get them to show again.

    Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

    Thanks that fixed it, it was the plugin I tried to install yesterday that did it.
