product category order not working

Hi,
since the last update woocommerce/storefront the product category order doesn’t work anymore. While the categories can be arranged by drag and drop in admin panel, the category page lists the categories in alphabetic order ignoring the setting/order in admin.

Any idea what I can do?

Woocommerce Version: 3.6.2 – Database is up to date
Storefront Version: 2.4.6
We’re using a child theme of storefront, templates are up to date and there’s no function related to this issue
