Exclude individual photos from compression?

    Hello,

    is it possible to exclude individual photos from the compression? Or if it has been compressed reverse it?
    Because some pictures really look bad or a client is picky about the quality.

    Hi Florian,

    Unfortunately the only way to reverse a compression is by deleting and re-uploading the original image.

    If you wish to manually select which images get compressed you can go to your Settings (Settings > Compress JPEG & PNG images) in your WordPress dashboard and select the “Do not compress new images automatically” option.

    You will then need to go to your Media Library (in list view) and you will see the option to compress your images manually.
