Wholesale Membership does not work

    Hi,

    our website is https://www.duanyam.com. We have 2 types of membership: customer (retail users) and wholesaler (wholesale users). Customers can create their account and continue shopping right away. Wholesalers need to sign up before they can see the price of wholesale products. And currently need approval. We are cutting this process and we want wholesale to be able to access price right away after signing up. Problem now is that, people who signed up as wholesaler, their account role shows as None. Which means they still won’t be able to access the price.

    How to fix this?
    We don’t have anyone who is coding savvy, we mostly just use plugins to achieve our goals on the website.

    Hi @loraduanyam,

    Do you mean that their user role is displayed as “None”?
    This can be due to the registration form issues or incorrect user role/registration form settings.
    Do you use an Ultimate member registration form? Have you disabled approval?
    Please check your “Wholesalers” role settings in Ultimate member -> User roles -> Wholesalers user role.

    Hi,

    Yes there is a registration form being used now. As if now, the registration form requires approval. And in the user role -> wholesalers user role, it is set to require approval.

    Now we want to erase this approval process. So I turned off approval at the wholesaler user role. When I tried to sign up from front-end, in the back end user is assigned as None, even though the form is set to assign role as Wholesaler
