@jcastaneda, there are people installing plugins that don’t want to share their urls with other people while site is not ready. Or site is under maintenance mode and needs password to get in. And many other situations.
I wasn’t asking wp-admin access so don’t see why this could be counted as “slippery slope”.
Could you please explain why this could be an issue or do you have a link to the article where this is explaining?

That’s understandable but as you are aware and replied so, that does hamper support on these volunteer support forums.

That’s because that has been the start of some real problems here. It’s happened before with other people.

It’s not you, no one is accusing you of anything except that you support your users very well and on your own time. Honest. It’s just that off forum contact has gone very bad for users and very bad for plugin/theme authors in the past.
It’s not just a risk for the user and sometimes when that off forum contact leads to other things, like admin, the plugin author exposes themselves to real liability.
Jose is just trying to help both you and the user out. That’s all. You’re not a company here, just a volunteer developer. These are not customers you are supporting here, just users of free opensource software from this site.

Btw I wasn’t blaming Jose in anything just wanted to know if there is some help article for the support people to know what things better not to ask or even are prohibited.
