    hi Jordy,

your gallery is not compatible with Internet Explorer 11. With Edge it works fine. But actually we have some users complaining about the rendering of the images in IE11.
As far as I could resolve, you’re using a display:grid in your classes .mgl-tiles .mgl-row which is not compatible with IE. I really would appreciate if you could add/use an additionally -ms-grid for downward compatibilty reasons.

    Cheers,
    Jo

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. We had a look into this and indeed, we will try to add some support for IE11.

However, is that important? I mean, are many users still on IE? It looks like the future is Edge (and other browsers, of course). I would prefer to keep the Meow Gallery keep of relatively useless code, which is why 🙂

It could also be interesting to have some CSS which could be added through the Customizer to make it work, without modifying the plugin.

    Hi Jordy,

it seems to be important. Edge and other browsers are the future, today a lot of companys and private users still use the IE. I have the same issue with a lot of my followers.

    Thanks an regards,

    Stefan

Yes, unfortunately IE 11 is still very frequently used in (larger) companies with slower IT divisions – where Windows 7 and IE 11 are still “state of the art” 🙁
I ‘m afraid this situation won’t change until the support of Windows 7 ends January next year.

    Any news on this subject?
