I can see that the plugin has already been translated into Brazilian Portuguese, the language I want, and the language I chose in WordPress admin – I installed Loco Translate and I can see the strings. But everything still shows up in english! Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi @isabelast,

You would also need to set the language to “Brazilian Portuguese” in your WordPress profile page (in Users).

Note that we cannot guarantee the translations are complete or accurate as they are user submitted.

Hi, still didn’t work! I don’t mind translating it myself again, if that’s the case, but Loco shows that all the strings are translated. Do you guys recommend any other translation plugins?

    Hi @isabelast,

I did the following steps and It worked for me (View Screenshot):

1.) Go to Settings > General Settings
2.) Set “Site Language” to “Português do Brasil”
    3.) Click on “Save Changes”
4.) Go to Users > Your Profile
5.) Set “Language” to “Português do Brasil”
    6.) Click on “Update Profile”

Could you verify your steps with me, also could you provide me a screenshot of what you see?

If you want to update the translations yourself, you can do so by using Loco Translate.

Hi! Ok, mine looks the same as yours, but apart from the two words you highlighted literally everything else is in English, and Loco still says the plugin has been translated 100%. Are you telling me those words are the only things I’m actually able to translate?

We don’t do any translating ourselves. All translations are submitted by users of the plugin. We don’t know if and can’t guarantee that they are accurate or complete. If there are things that aren’t translated, that means whoever did the translating didn’t translate those specific words.
