showing up after upgrade to 2.8.1

I upgraded to 2.8.1 over the weekend and the upgrade process went smoothly. After everything was done though, I noticed that in all my previous posts the special character, Â, is showing up after each sentence. Has anyone else run across this? Any ideas how to get rid of this without manually editing each individual post? Thanks!
