    I have a small problem with the source fields.

    They are somewhat unpredictable. Only text fields are selectable. Decimal are not available for selection. It’s not obvious how to delete fields.

    Also why can’t I change the slug setting. I want to change the slug from my initial setting, but it doesn’t update.

    The content source fields are for the purpose of providing keywords and indexable content for search engine spiders and the site’s built in global search. Numeric fields are not normally good candidates for this, however if you have a good argument for including them I will look at adding them to the fields available for the content source fields.

    Deleting the fields chosen for the content source fields is done by clicking on the “X” next to the name of the field.

    I don’t know what the problem with your slug setting is, changing that value is working in my tests here. I’d suggest taking a look at your php error log for some information on what’s going on there.
