Developer asking for admin access

So I contacted the developer about a problem with attendees not showing up properly. Their very first reply was:

—–My first reaction was of course “no effin way!” But I wanted to ask, is this a normal answer from WordPress developers?
My problem is similar to other posts here where people are signing up for events and completing orders, but they are either not showing up in attendee list, the quantity of seats left is calculated improperly, or both.
Also, attendees for events where there are multiple events with the same name are all appearing as attendees for the first chronological event only, no matter which date event they sign up for.
