As expected some posts now how related posts, others don’t. Other than not using the block editor, is there a way to make them return?

I suspect this may not be Twenty-Nineteen specific… but It’s only emerged on my staging site that uses the new theme. Related posts work fine on my production site with another theme.

  • Must be from a plugin you’re using, those options don’t show up on TwentyNineteen for me

Could be Jetpack. I’ve been using it for so long it feels like it’s a core part of WordPress.

Jetpack is one of many plugins that provides Related Posts, and what you are quoting is part of Jetpack’s Related Posts settings.

I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Also, please let them know what exactly you changed to cause the problem, because the text you quoted is just a reminder and has always been in Jetpack (early versions mentioned the shortcode, not the block), it isn’t an indication of a problem of any type.
