Have you recently moved your site from one domain to another? Maybe from one host to another.
Check and resave Permalink settings in wp-admin under Settings → Permalinks.

Thanks for your response. i have not moved my site at anytime. also i have done the permalinks you suggested but still the same error message.
These 404’s are they on the front end of the site or in the wp-admin?
Also, are the pages Published or Saved as Drafts? Sometimes this happens with drafts if the server config is messed up.
