Trouble adding a link!

I was going to add some links to an article that I have in draft, and the first one worked fine.

But after that, I can’t seem to add any more.

When I highlight the words that I want to add a link to, as soon as I hit the link button, the highlight goes away and wont let me add the link.

I’ve never had an issue with this before.

Any idea why all of sudden I can’t add any links?
