In the page I have linked to the locations have other weird spurious content tht I don’t understand where they come fron.

If I go to Locations in Event Manager they are not there but if I look up the page there they are!

For example: Event Dashboard, Events, Auto Draft – these are a few of many weird entries. Clearly they are not events and I don’t know how to get rid of them!

Are they in some file somewhere?

    Can anyone help?

  • Hello,

Could you perhaps Install the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-safe-mode/ When activated this would help us check for possible theme or plugin conflicts.

Can you also try and update to PHP 7.1.

Thanks. I cannot control the PHP version that is in the hands of my ISP.

Once the plugin is installed and activated what do I do then?

    Thanks

When I look at locations in the EM settings the list is correct. I also checked the em_locations mysql table and this is all good too, apart from some duplications.

However when I go to enter an new event and go to pick an even location from the drop down table there appear locations with names like:

    Home
    Events Dashboard
    Search
    Post an Event
    Event Entry
    Auto Draft

    And several more weird “locations”!

As these weird locations are not stored in the em_locations table would you know where they would be stored?

    Hello,

Currently what is you PHP Version? After you have Installed the WP Safe-Mode plugin, You can activate it and go to “WP Safe Mode” and make sure that you have selected twenty series for the Safemode theme and then Click on Safe mode only me.

The PHP version is : 7.2.7

I did not install the plugin so far as it only has one review, so seems not popular.

I get the impression from the “location” names that fields from another plugin I tried “The Events Manager”, are the interfering items.

I would be keen to find out where these “locations” are in the database schema so I can potentially delete them.

    Regards
