Have you tried any of the Placeholders for iCal/RSS Feeds
found in the Documentation > Advanced Usage > Placeholders
the iCal/RSS Feeds placeholders are down the list below Location Related Placeholders.
I just tried one in my Single Location Page Format and it worked fine – except on my computer Outlook “grabbed” the link for its calendar before I had a chance to choose my Google Calendar. #_LOCATIONWEBCALLINK
I would insert some friendly text to display next to it, but this is at least working.
Show here along with some other placeholders I inserted.
` #_LOCATIONCOUNTRY
</p>
URL<br/>
#_LATT{URL}<br>
Phone<br/>
#_LATT{PHONE}<br>
Wheelchair Access<br/>
#_LATT{ACCESSIBLE}
<br style=”clear:both” />
<p>
#_LOCATIONNOTES
<p>
#_LOCATIONWEBCALLINK
<p>
<h3>Upcoming Events</h3>
<p>#_LOCATIONNEXTEVENTS</p>
That insert shown in my code, #_LOCATIONWEBCALLINK
worked fine with Outlook’s calendar but I couldn’t get Google Calendar to respond, even when I uninstalled Outlook, leaving Google as my only calendar.
The best I could do is use a placeholder that displays the URL to the calendar, copy that and add it as a new calendar in Google. Each location required me to create a separate calendar, quite the mess very soon.
The EVENT placeholder showing a Google button works great, putting dates directly into my primary Google Calendar automatically. But with LOCATION, no similar outcome yet.
This could be my lack of understanding of Google Calendar. Also, Google Calendar does not update changes you make in EM for several hours. 12 hours so far and I’m still waiting. That’s a known limitation of Google.
