    Hi
I just downloaded the latest version 2.5.2, deactivated current elementor plugin and renamed plugin/elementor directory in elementor-old (just incase), installed new one manually in the wordpress/plugins directory. When trying to activate the plugin, I get the following error message

Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to WordPress.org. Please contact your server administrator.) in /opt/application/brmwas/php/G01R00C00/public/wp-includes/update.php on line 347 Fatal error: Cannot redeclare elementor_fail_wp_version() (previously declared in /opt/application/brmwas/php/G01R00C00/public/wp-content/plugins/elementor/elementor.php:97) in /opt/application/brmwas/php/G01R00C00/public/wp-content/plugins/elementor-old/elementor.php on line 96

Hopefully reverting back to the previous version of elementor works fine 🙂
    could you help ?

    Frederic

That sounds like the problem and the solution. Perhaps it was a temporary glitch. Also, there are new updates since then, so you might want grab the latest and try again.
