View User gives 404 error

    Hi Chad,

    I am still baffled by the Dashboard/Users/All Users options for individual Users of Edit/Delete/Active/View. The underlying HTML for View provides a link to http://thesite/author/username and is to provide a list of Posts for this User. I don’t have any Posts; hence the 404 error. But is that HTML standard WordPress or was it inserted by a plugin that I later deleted?

    This really is not a question about WP-Members – the “view” hover menu item is not part of the plugin, so unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for you.

    I believe that it is WP standard (although all current WP documentation does not mention it).
