    first things first: thanks for providing this plugin.

    I have two WP instances for two languages of the same blog (English and German). For both instances your plugin is running with the same configuration and basically working without a hassle. Double check is enabled and the emails for confirming subscriptions are being sent out to the potential subscribers.

    But recently I discovered, that on the English instance subscribers will receive comment notifications even if they did not confirm their subscription via click on the link in the email. They will just receive notifications for all new comments as soon as they checked the checkbox. For the German instance everything is set the same in the WP backend but for that it works perfectly.

    I have tried to debug in the database but have not found the place where the subscription is stored. Could you help me by pointing me to the place in the database where the subscription settings are stored for subscribers? Or maybe help me to find a solution for the problem at all?

    Plugin Version is (for both instances): 190214

    Will run some tests and figure out what’s going on.

    Which plugin are you using to run the multi-language, is it WPML or WordPress multisite install or something else? Or is it 2 completely separate WordPress installations?

    thanks for your effort. It’s two completely separated installations, so no multi site or multi language.

    The German one (where it is working correctly) is http://blog-de.test.schoeck.de

    Oh.

    In WP Admin > StCR > StCR System, you’ll see “Generate System Info” file, click that. A download button will show up, click that to download the system information file. Send that over to skustrimovic at gmail dot com and I’ll check out the settings and hopefully replicate the same issue on my installation so I can figure out a solution.
