    Hi there

WP Engine, the company behind Genesis, has published a blog post and video recently on how to get started with AMP in Genesis. You can check it out here: https://wpengine.com/blog/genesis-amp/

Improved AMP support on their side is on the roadmap, so things should become easier over time.

    Hope that helps!

    Hello,

Are you using a custom built child theme or a purchased theme, such as from StudioPress?

If you’re using a StudioPress theme, many of the popular themes will be AMP ready as part of the Genesis 3 Roadmap.

If you’re using a purchased child theme from another provider, I’d suggest contacting that provider and asking them when their themes will be AMP ready.

If you have a custom built or customized child theme, you can modify the child theme itself for each of the invalid AMP areas. Let’s talk more about how you can do that.

    Customizing – Where to start?
    —————————–

As @swissspidy mentioned, start with the video that WP Engine put together, which is found here https://wpengine.com/blog/genesis-amp/. You’ll install the plugin, set up the site in paired or native mode, and then walk through the AMP Validation screens to identify problem areas that need to be addressed.

Once you do, you’ll notice that the Genesis 2 versions of the framework have AMP validation errors due to various scripts being loaded, such as Superfish, dropdown menu, and skip links. Work is underway to make these features and components AMP ready as part of the Genesis 3 roadmap. However, for now, you can accept these validation errors and then concentrate on the errors generated within your child theme and/or plugins.

How about the child theme AMP validation errors?
    ————————————————

You’ll likely see AMP validation errors if your child theme has one or more of the common interactivity and functionality features, such as:

responsive menus, combining of menus for mobile, scroll-bound animation, sticky headers, scroll to the top, height matching, image backstretch, and offscreen menus and widget areas.

Check to see if your theme has any of these and if you have validation errors. If yes, what can you do? You’ll need to modify your custom child theme.

    How?

We have Genesis+AMP Playbooks that will be released soon. These provide you with a Genesis-specific AMP solution for each of these common interactivity and functionality features. They will give you the code and an explanation.

You can then use the playbook(s) you need in your child themes.

Stay tuned for announcements on when the playbooks and AMP is coming to Genesis.

I use Genesis Business Pro Theme. I have the following issues with it:

1- when I use the Native or Pair mode, the navigation bar does not work correctly and also the homepage does not show correctly.

2- With the classic mode, I cannot see the homepage.

3- Also my client need to see the amp url in this format:
amp.domain.com not with the current format domain.com/?amp

Can you help me about these issues?

1- when I use the Native or Pair mode, the navigation bar does not work correctly and also the homepage does not show correctly.

Steps to fix the issue are outlined by @hellofromtonya above, but the full fix would come when AMP is fully integrated with Genesis.

3- Also my client need to see the amp url in this format:
amp.domain.com not with the current format domain.com/?amp

Why is it a need? It is not necessary for AMP. It is also not supported by the plugin.
