New A/c Created??

    Hi All

    I have another post in another forum about a diffeent subject but have a quick query which I hope may be answered here.

    I used to edit my site at http://www.expattax.co.uk/wp-admin and everything was good. I then moved to a new host provider by copying evrything across and amending the wp-config file to point to a new DB I created on the new host.

    The first time I then tried to go to http://www.expattax.co.uk/wp-admin it prompted me to create a new a/c, which I did (probably an error on my part) but now I have a tottally blank page/website, even though all of te ocntent in on the new server, and I have the new DB created and imported etc?

    Also I created this new WP blog on a new pc, will I still be able to access the old WP version (www.expattax.co.uk/wp-admin from my original pc or not)

    Im concerned Ive lost everything. Although I do have a zip file of the original content worst case scenario.

    STOP CROSSPOSTING

    I told you what to do in your OTHER thread. Starting a new posts doesnt get you a different solution.

    Read the directions. ALL of them.

    Furthermore, NOWHERE in the other thread do you say you imported the old database.

    you have ONE post on that installed blog. That means one of two things — you either didnt import the old database tables OR you did but you didnt edit your wp-config.php to point to that database and those tables.

    Apologies i thought they were two separate issues. I will continue to post in the original post then with my repsonse.
