• “SuperSlider-Login” plugin looks great and works perfectly. But I wish it had a options setting to specify what items need to show up in the panel.

    For my regular subscribers I need a simple panel only showing the login box.Corrently it shows everything.

    On the horizontal setting the panel turn into a tab with nothing in it if you close it once. There is no way to re-open it.

  • Hello bluebird2,
    First up, as to what’s available to the user inside of the panel :
    if self registration is activated, the registry form will be available.
    if user logged in is subscriber their options in the panel when logged in should be:
    Account
    * Dashboard
    * Update Profile
    * Log out
    If you are seeing more options than that, then perhaps you aren’t logged in as a subscriber.(when clicking the link to dashboard as user type subscriber, your access will still be limited to: Update Profile, log out) If this is not the case, then please mention here what happens.

    A contributor would see:

    Re your second issue:

    On the horizontal setting the panel turn into a tab with nothing in it if you close it once. There is no way to re-open it.

    When horizontal is set, the open/close tab uses graphic images instead of text, due to space. The included css refers to the graphic file needed for open/close/login.
    If this image doesn’t load, then there would be no visible item to click. Maybe I should add a fix for this.

    Please check that you have uploaded superslider-login/plugin-data/superslider/ssLogin/(theme in use)/images/vert_button.png

    Thanx for your comments.

    Yup, just tested this in safari, seams I have a css error to look after.
    I’ll be updating as soon as it’s fixed,

    Ok, found and fixed the vertical tab problem.
    check out the latest release:
    superslider-login
    (it does take a few minutes for the extend directory to update)

    Thanks. I updated it. It looks much better now, but there are still minor problems. Please take a look at here:
    http://shahrefarang.org/

    These are my problems:
    1. When I set the plugin on horizontal it becomes vertical. When I set it on vertical it is horizontal.
    2. It does not work properly on bilingual sites. See the above link. When you set the Persian there sre some problems. The images do not show correctly. And the text does not show up right. Please see this page:
    http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=294
    3. Some of the features on the site do not work after activating this plugin. For example when the Superslider is on the top I cannot click on the “Persian ” English” link.
    4. Question: How can I change the word “Howdy”?

    (@bluebird2)

    As far as I understand any link or javascript in the area that the slider moves in gets disabled.
    Is there any fix for that?

    horizontal slides horizontal,
    vertical slides vertical
    I get that mixed up sometimes as well. but the direction refers to the transition.
    I’ve tried to multi language as much as possible using default wordpress language, but there may be some items which fail,
    looking at your site, you do have the plugin installed, but the css for the superslider-login gives a 404:
    http://shahrefarang.org/wp-content/plugins/superslider-login/plugin-data/superslider/ssLogin/default/default_vertical.css

    Also, Although I did include a spanish language .mo file it hasn’t been translated yet.

    If you can fix the 404 I would like to work out the other issues with you.

    change Howdy, edit the file login_panel.php lines 18 and 126
    This is standard WordPress and will translate automatically.

    (@bluebird2)

    Why does that 404 error happen? what should I do to fix it?
