just tried it with this page: https://www.produktwarnung.eu/2019/02/13/rueckruf-erhoehte-formaldehydwerte-in-kaffeebecher-to-go-von-out-of-the-blue/12746
and it works just fine for me on an iPhone X and a Samsung phone.
What kind of smartphone and browser do you use? Of course you need to have the WhatsApp app installed on that device, but that’s a no brainer I guess.

Well, I still would like to know, on what kind of device and browser you experienced that problem, because the old official link still works fine for me on all devices and your the first one to report that problem.

Ok i was on road before…
So what i do is changing the file shariff-whatsapp.php
service_url = ‘whatsapp://send’;
in
service_url = ‘https://wa.me/’;
and it works again…
the “old” Fileversion we used at https://www.cleankids.de/2019/02/08/wer-ein-kind-moechte-braucht-folsaeure/73364 so you can test it. If i clicked the whtsapp Button, only a whit side in Chrome Browser and Android Browser report “offline?”
In use Samsung Galaxy S8 /Android 8,0 and Huawei P20 also Adroid 8.0
But we became some reviews reportet this Problem

Na toll…grade gemerkt, dass ich auch auf Deutsch schreiben kann… 🙂
Also nochmal, die whatsapp Share Funktion hat nicht mehr funktioniert. Habe dazu verschiedene Rückmeldungen von Nutzern bekommen. Inzwischen habe ich festgestellt, dass whatsapp wohl den Share-Link geändert hat.
Habe dann die service url in der Datei shariff-whatsapp.php von ‘whatsapp://send’;
in ‘https://wa.me/’; geändert, und es klappt wieder über Mobilgeräte.
Auf cleankids.de ist noch die “alte” service URL, da kommt beim Share Versuch nur eine weiße Seite. Auf produktwarnung.eu hingegen de “neue” Version, da klappts.
Dir Jan-Peter auf jeden Fall mal ein dickes Danke für das tolle Plugin!!!

Hallo Oliver,
das ist wirklich interessant, denn bei mir funktionieren auch die alten Links noch. Aber nichts desto trotz ist die neue Variante definitiv besser, da sie jetzt auch für WhatsApp Web funktioniert.
Wird also mit dem nächsten Update geändert und auch nicht mehr auf Mobile only stehen.

Danke, der neue Share-Link funktioniert auch bei mir.
So, 4.6.0 ist veröffentlicht mit der besagten Änderung.
