No Custom header selectable

    Hey there,
    I have just installed OceanWP, added a custom header (in the theme panel) via Elementor but as soon as I switch to the customizer no template is being shown in the “custom header” section. Right after “header style” only the size selector is shown, but no drop-down field where I can select anything from my library. What’s my mistake?

    Hello,

    Try to disable/enable plugin one by one to check for a possible conflict. Did you create a template under the Theme Panel > My Library?

    Hello!

    Thank you for your response! I found out that it’s the Ocean Extra plugin. Does that mean I have to go without it? It’s recommended for my theme so I don’t know if it will be ok without it. Thanks so much for your help!

    Hello,

    Try to follow the below steps and check it fixes the issue or not.
    1. Update PHP version if it is not PHP7
    2. Increase memory limit to 256M
    3. Disable all the plugins except Ocean Extra and Elementor and check it works or not. Then enable plugins one by one to troubleshoot the issue.

    That’s very strange. Can you share your site link, please? Are you using a child theme?

    I just switched to a child theme and at first it worked and then it reverted back; I checked the customizer and the dropdown was missing again.

    The weird thing is it works on my shop pages, just not site pages.

    I found out I had the page settings for my Home page set to Header: Medium so that was overriding any settings in the customizer!
    Issue resolved 🙂
