Hi @rockmusicraider,
Thanks for contacting us!
Unfortunately, we don’t have a feature to automatically remove the inserted affiliate links from your posts if you delete them on your ThirstyAffiliate settings.
Please be aware that you need to remove them manually to prevent the link to redirect to error 404.
I suggest using the Link Inserted Scanner to find the list of posts where you have to remove the affiliate link before deleting it.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi,
Yes, thanks for the reply.
This defeats the purpose of such a massive plugin. It needs not only provide tools to manage or cloak links appearing in multiple pages, but also allow for deletion, as in complete deletion. Because there can come a time, when you want to change a program. And judging by your comments, this now sounds like gods punishment.
It is not a simple removal of links, by the way. The image inserted through the plugin needs to go as well. Having to possibly remove thousands of links and/or images manually is exactly what I wanted to avoid.
There are simple plugins that allow to at least unlink (meaning, the link will disappear), but not remove images that go with it. This is a pity, because these just work without complication, even for multiple pages.
So, why not yours? I would even pay for such a functionality.
Best
