Crashed Comments Table

    My comments table crashed on my database. I am told “table is already up to date” whenever I try repairing. What should I do?

    that doesnt work – ask your host if they will/can repair it from the cli

    if they wont, then you get what you can, or hope you have a backup.

    how many comments are we talking about anyway? 1, 10,100,1000?

    I have googled it but I could not find anything useful except for site telling me to use phpMyAdmin which I had already tried. Actually, I really do not care if the comments can be recovered, so if I cannot repair it with the way given above, I would like to know if there will be any problems with broken links if I were to just delete and create a new table.
