Photo load time after click?

    I have used the replace gallery function for a long time. I’ve just given the gallery a chance again to give users something new. I notice it takes more time than I think it should to load photos after they click to view them. My site is fast, on a dedicated server and pretty well optimized. Is there any suggestions to help speed that up? The delay seems excessive.

    The time it takes to load a full-size photo when you click on it depends on the server and user connection only, the WPAdverts does not really have anything to do with it as opening the image is just a matter of loading the image in the browser.

    If your old gallery worked faster then maybe it was preloading the images in the background, then loading full-size image comes down to loading it from the browser cache?

    It is a trick which will make the images load faster but will use your bandwidth even if the user will not load the full-size images.
