• I would like to use your plugin on our production website but we have an issue with another plugin we’re currently using: enable-media-replace.

Basically when I try to replace some media file with the aforementioned plugin I get a PHP notice:

Undefined index: dirname in /app/public/wp-content/plugins/resmushit-image-optimizer/resmushit.php on line 89

This is quite annoying, I saw that this line was causing some issue in the past and it has been solved, see here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/notice-undefined-index-dirname-in-resmushit-php-on-line-89/

I am wondering if there’s a possibility to have this plugin work correctly with enable-media-replace, otherwise we will be forced to look to another solution.

    Thanks, Cesare.

    Hi Cesarer,

Thanks for this feedback, we’ll have a look at it, this bug should have been already fixed.

    We’ll keep you posted.

    Cheers,

Just to give you some more context, the error happens with WordPress 4.8.7, enable-media-replace 3.2.7 and resmushit-image-optimizer 0.1.22.

    Im having the same issue,

    wordpress 5.0.3
    resmushit-image-optimizer 0.1.22

So heres an update, i only see the error when I enable “Optimize on upload”

Yes, disable that option could be a workaround but then it’s disabled for new media too and you don’t want to manually optimize all the new images especially if you have a lot of them daily.
