Refresh time when connecting to Google Sheet

    I’m running WordPress 5.3 and have recently added the inline viewer (even though its not officially tested against this version of WP)

    Initially, it didnt think it was working as updates made to the source data (Google Sheet) was not making it through to the page on my WP site.

    However, it does appear to be updating…eventually.

    My questions are

    How frequently does the cache on the WP site refresh.
    How frequently does the plugin check for updates
    Do I need to any thing on the Google Sheet side of things to initiate the plugin on Word Press

    How frequently does the cache on the WP site refresh.

    From the README:

    expire_in – How long to cache responses from Google for, in seconds. Set to 0 to cache forever. (Default: 600, which is ten minutes.)

    How frequently does the plugin check for updates

    It doesn’t poll. The data is fetched on page load.

    Do I need to any thing on the Google Sheet side of things to initiate the plugin on Word Press

    No. If your data shows up once then you’ve already done everything you need to do on the Google side.

    Plugin is working like a dream (on WP 5.0.3)
