Date format

    Hi there,

    I have been using the plugin today only and I’m having some difficulty with the date formating.

    I change the format on the Settings/Advanced to d/m/Y and it showed an exampl of 03/02/2019 which was all good.

    However, I entered in all the dates without strict on (I have switched it on now but not yet re-entered everything) and it reformated them to July 1, 1970.

    The fields that I am entering are date fields that I have added in the custom field piece.

    I have some screen shots but I can’t add them here which is not so good. I will try and email them to you.

    Participants Database can parse dates of the format d/m/y, without using “Strict Dates” but it needs for that format to be the global date format for your site (General WP Settings).

    “Strict Dates” should work for that, but it only affects date inputs, and it is not at all flexible about the formatting of the date input.

    Have you considered using a Datepicker?

    That did the trick. I might try the Datepicker. I’m just doing some trials at the moment t osee if the overall plugin will work for my needs.
