two products share same stock?

    Hello guys,
    I am looking for a way to allow two products to share the same stock/inventory.

    for example;
    let’s say I have 100 black unisex shirts in stock and I want them to be listed in two different sections: women -> shirts and men -> shirts.
    – in the womens section the shirts are worn by women
    – in the mens section the shirts are worn by men
    (like we have two different items)

    and when a shirt gets bought the stock has to change on both sections.

    I hope you get my case and can help me to solve it…
    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi there,

    You can create a variable product and add ‘Men’ and ‘Women’ as the variations for that product. Here’s more about variable products: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/.

    Now, if you want the stock to be common, under Product Data section of the page, go to Inventory tab and select the Enable stock management at product level option as shown in the image here: http://cld.wthms.co/4qKBO2.

    By selecting this you can sell two product variations and the stock will be reduced as a whole.

    I don’t want the customer to choose between man and women.

    So I theoretically created two different items and want them to use the same stock!

    Hi @subsix,

    It isn’t possible to have 2 distinct products with a common stock count.

    Each product has its own stock count.

    You can do this by using Woocommerce Product Bundles.
    You can create a product bundle with a hidden variation or simple product.
    Then you can create 10 different products, with the same stock level.
