• Thanks for the latest update.

I was really looking forward to seeing my AMP version being back to normal without needing the rollback version (0.9.97.23) which I’ve had to use recently, due to the blog page being automatically set as the home-page.

Sadly though, this is not the case.

There have been THREE updates since this error was reported, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the plugin developers haven’t got a clue what they’re on about regarding this issue.

This time, it proudly said on the changelog that the issue was fixed whereby the blog page was being set as the homepage for Yoast and AISEO users.

Seems it’s not so, and it’s back to 0.9.97.23 for me until the issue gets fixed – or until I find an alternative that works properly without me being lied to.

    Hi BostonStrippers,

To use the previous version of a plugin, download this one:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rollback/

Activate it, then at the side of your plugins list, you’ll see ‘Rollback’.

Click on ‘rollback’ next to the AMP for WP plugin, and you’ll get a list of previous versions.

The version I’m using is 0.9.97.23

Yes, it’s one of my sites’ essentials – you can also deactivate it when not being used.

Sorry I’ve given you so much work to do πŸ™‚

    Hi @bostonstrippers and @steveraven,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

We’ve already fixed the issue in the latest update. And before releasing the update, we’ve tested on several servers. Maybe it’s a technical bug or set up configuration on your end, Can you please contact us directly on team@magazine3.com? I and a senior lead developer will check and resolve the issue immediately on your end.

Please contact us and also mention this thread in the email.

As mentioned in a previous thread, I’d prefer that this issue was sorted out in this forum, rather than going to private email.

With TWO instances of the issue here, it seems unlikely that the issue has been fixed?

It’s ok, I’ll start looking for an alternative – or even removing AMP as I’m fed up of having to re-validate.

Just confirmed – the update is still not working even with the update to WPRocket rolled back.

You can check on this at https://www.midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/amp/ for the next half hour or so before I rollback to 0.9.97.23

Following the latest, latest, latest update, AMP for WP is again working as normal, even despite these wonderful ‘magical local servers’ used to verify non-working updates.
