I’m using this plugin with the Divi theme and it appears that there is something within the plugin’s JavaScript file that is conflicting with my theme

I ran across the following issue when trying to edit a page with the Divi Visual builder that has a Full Width slider at the top of the page. After I activate the visual builder, the slider doesn’t display and gives me a error message

I see the following errors in my Inspector tools:
    TypeError: $(…).owlCarousel is not a function frontend.js:2981:50

    TypeError: “a is undefined” react-dom.production.min.js:105:292

I’m not using any MEC widgets or calendars on this page.
After deactivating the Modern Events Calendar, I’m able to use the visual builder without any errors.

Are there any fixes for this?

    Hello @cmpisha,

Use the latest version and be continue:
For troubleshooting, deactivate all your plugins and let the MEC remain active only, set your theme on default, then reload the page, if the issue was solved, then activate your plugins one by one and your theme, refresh your page and check to see which plugin is causing the issue.

Why did you resolve this? basically, your suggestion wasn’t really a fix. I am having a similar issue where your plugin is throwing an error: ….owlCarousel is not a function
