    Hi,

I have set up a webshop, where users can buy license subscriptions (WooCommerce Subscriptions) for my app.
As I just followed the Woo API Documentation (“…allow users to generate API keys for your APP…”) I thought, that it would be possible for me to use the Application Authentication Endpoint to let the user generate API Keys for hisself and I only get the licenses (subscriptions), which this particular user has subscripted to.
When I first tried it with my user (admin) it worked perfectly.
Now I tried it with a “normal” user and ran into the permission problem, that the user, which has “customer” role, cannot view the Application Authentication Endpoint Page. So he cannot create API keys for hisself. Do this happens on purpose?
How can I solve this problem? How could I customize the API to get it working? Can you provide your solution? Would be great!

    Best regards and thank you,
    Hendrik

    Hi @hendriktso,

Firstly, customers cannot generate API keys as API key generation requires admin access.

Aside from that, support for premium products is not allowed in the forums. If you have a valid subscription for the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension, head over to WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets and open a ticket.

I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved.
