After upgrading the lite plugin to 2.5.4, I got only a white screen after logging in. Without logging in, the site (and the slider) worked fine. After disabling the lite plugin, the site works again.

With the plugin active, we received this error in the Apache log:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Soliloquy_Common_Lite in .../wp-content/plugins/soliloquy-lite/includes/global/common.php on line 20

  • Hi 🙂

May I ask, do you have Soliloquy Lite and Soliloquy premium installed at the same time?

    Only Soliloquy Lite

I see, it sounds like it’s trying to activate 2 versions?

Does the theme included Soliloquy Lite possibly and you’re trying to activate Soliloquy Lite? That error is saying the function is already been declared. But it’s only declared inside our plugin.

There isn’t another version of Soliloquy on the site–just the one plugin. The theme is a child of WP Knowledge Base, and doesn’t have a slider packaged with it.

The plugin worked fine for years. It was only after the most recent update that it caused any problems. No other changes to the site were made recently, although other plugins also were updated.

I will open a ticket, as you suggested. If there is a resolution, I will post it back here, just to tidy things up.

    Thanks for your help!
