    Hi,
I would like to create (or know if it’s possible to create or if such a template already existes) a custom template where you set the title of the download in the short code :

    Ex : [download id=”1337″ template=”my-custom” custom-title=”my custom title”]

The result would be the equivalent of :
    my custom title

Any tip on where to start ?

    Thank you !

  • Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I regret to say this is not possible using just a custom template. You will need to either modify our shortcode to take the parameter or you will have to create a new custom shortcode.

I would recommend contacting a 3rd party developer to create a custom solution for this.

This would be a useful feature. I have a client who likes to use inline links quite a lot and she would like to track these downloads via Download Monitor. Unfortunately I don’t have the PHP skills to make this work the way she wants. (We have settled on putting the relevant links in parentheses.)
