Failed Activation

I purchased the pro version of the plugin and am unable to activate it.

I have unzipped the folder and uploaded the wpdatatables folder to the wordpress folder via FTP. When I try to activate I get the following error:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/ecoxnewsite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/controllers/wdt_ajax_actions.php on line 778”

Running WordPress 5.0.3
Running PHP Version: 7.1.25
Alos tested running PHP version: 5.6.39
