    Thanks for messing everything up! I was not asked, and I did not agree, to be part of beta testing your incredibly flawed program!

    1. Many things are now hidden and you’ve added more clicks to do the same thing (e.g., switch between wysiwig and code view). WHY?

    2. Now between saves, extra spaces get added on the page and I have to keep deleting them.

    3. All of a sudden, the “add link” box gets stuck on the page and I can’t make the “open on different page” button work.

    4. The “upload media” box very often shows an error and won’t upload anything. I’ve tried different browsers, clearing casche, etc. etc. Have to log out completely and start over.

    And so many other things. Did you never hear of fully testing something before dumping it on the market! All you have succeeded in doing is wasting a LOT of my time. I do NOT appreciate it–and it is clear that you don’t really care.

    This is not about the end of the world; it is about wasting my time. And I’ve wasted a LOT of time with this new so-called wonderful new version.

    Hiya!

    I understand that you’ve had a bad experience here, but please, take a moment, breathe, it’s not the end of the world. I’ve removed the personal insults from your post, I just wanted to let you know if you were confused by the edit made.

    I’d like to point out that the new editing experience has been in development for the past 2 years, with a public callout in WordPress it self to public betas over the past 4-5 months before the release.

    Your second and third items sound like either a bug, or a potential conflict with a plugin or theme you are using (I’d encourage you to open a support topic for those and we’ll try to find the cause of it with you).

    I’m curious as to what items you feel are hidden away, perhaps it’s something we’ve added a handy shortcut for that I may help you find to make the experience a bit better.

    Removed my personal insults? And you tell me to breathe! How about removing that. Your total lack of concern for the amount of time I have just wasted messing with this program is insulting. And totally expected.

    Your entire program is an insult. I’m telling you from a users point of view that your new program simply wastes a lot of my time. I’ve been using it for weeks. It is obvious that this program is in beta and you are using people like me as testers. Infuriating.

    I told you a few of the problems. Fix them! You open a support ticket! I have other things to do besides mess with you any further.

    @marius you are right about the public betas. That was when those 1 star reviews started to trickle in.

    When I compare the progress some of the existing page builders made over the past 2 year it starts in fact to alienate me how little Gutenberg delivers…

    At the moment it looks to me like a Check-Matt for Gutenberg
