    Can events manager pro restrict to certain email types? Seems we may need to upgrade to accomplish what we are interested in!

    Hi Patrick,

    Thanks for all of your quick responses to my questions!

    We are interested in restricting registration to guests who have a specific domain for their email address.

    Rather than permitting gmail/yahoo/etc, we would like it to be a specific ‘@exmaple.example.edu’

    Aha… You mean email address types. Email type is plain text or HTML. Hence, my question. 😉

    That is not (or ever I think) a built-in option. Especially because there are as many different email addresses as there are domain names. So it would be basically impossible to create such an option to suit the world. 😉

    You could try targeting a email field value validation by custom coding jQuery upon booking form submit. But that will not be supported on this forum. 😉

    Upgrading to EM Pro is a very good idea (not part of their team, just a very happy EM User), but again: that will not add your wish.

    You will need custom coding, regardless of an upgrade.
