Readers of the published blog see the Edit option for the Tables. I don’t want them to see that. They’ll all ask how to log into the blog. No one has access to WordPress but the admin.

Is there some code to prevent the Edit Link from showing?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Only logged-in users that have access to the admin area will see this link. You could for example check that by going to your link in a “Private” or “Incognito” browser session.
(I, for example, don’t see the “Edit” link on your page, because I’m not logged-in.)

    Regards,
    Tobias

I still see the edit in the posts. Even using incognito

I should add the author of the posts always copies a week of the calendar into each new posts.

    Hi,

could you please check the “Edit” screen of that page to see if it actually still shows the table Shortcode and not the HTML code for the table?

Stupid me! I did edit the post and removed the link to the edit screen. Will just have to watch for it next time. Thank you for all your help

    Hi,

actually, don’t just remove the “Edit” link, but replace the table HTML code with the Shortcode again. Only that way will you see updated content in the table.
Note that this was most likely caused by a theme function, something like frontend editing.

    Regards,
    Tobias
