The plugins breaks the default WP search.
For some reason, if the tribe plugin is active, the searchfunction ignores the title in the search, and only looks at the content.

For example the page “About us” will not be included in the search when searching for “About”.
But if I disable the tribe plugin, it works as expected.

If I disable all other plugins, and remove more or less everything from function.php, the error still occurs.
    Everything is up to date.

    Any idea?

  • Hi @herjafader!

I can’t reproduce your problem. It’s possible there’s a conflict somewhere. You said you deactivated all other plugins, but did you also try to switch to the default theme? (you may read our instructions to test for conflicts: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/).

If you still have the problem with the default theme and no plugin except for The Events Calendar, then we would need some extra information: your PHP version, your WP version, your theme version and your Events Calendar version.

    Thanks!
