pop up maker window won’t close after successful submission of contact form 7

    Help! I’m pulling my hair out. I made my wordpress website. I created a popup with Popup Maker. The popup sends a freebie automatically using Contact Form 7 (a media file through email.) Everything works exactly how I want it except … the pop up window will not close after successful submission of contact form 7. It just clears the form and stays open. I’ve watched a ton of youtube videos. I’ve read help files. I’ve followed every step they tell me to do. It should work. But it doesn’t!
    Ideally, I would like a second popup to appear after successful submission of Contact Form 7 that says Thank You. I do not want to send the visitor to a “thank you” page because I want them to remain on my home page. Then I would like that “thank you” pop up to close automatically after 3-4 seconds.
    I am using chrome, but have tried it on other browsers without luck.

    @mgbell86 – Sorry for the delay.

    More than likely if you have all the settings correct (which it sounds like you do), one of the addons your using for CF7 is interfering with the Javascript success event we look for to do those things.

    Redirecting on success for example can have this effect, its possible one of your others is preventing it somehow. Try disabling those and see if it works. If so re-enable them one by one until you find it.
