Thanks for the response. A widget is not my desired option because I want to display a tall, narrow gallery in the main (unwidgetised) content area with text. Or I am missing something?

I would like the gallery to be a stack of 5 (or 6) images aligned to the right of the content.
It was originally 5 individual right-aligned images but I thought that one right-aligned gallery would be more stable.

The best solution for achieving this layout is using a page builder plugin along with Photo Gallery. Using a page builder, you will be able to separate the pages into two columns, adding your gallery and the text to each.
