    Mail (2) is an additional mail template often used as an autoresponder.

    You can edit the mail template here. For details, see Setting Up Mail.
    In the following fields, you can use these mail-tags:
    [your-name][your-email][your-phone][your-addy][your-city][checkbox-103][your-comment]
    To
    [your-email]
    !(configuration error) Invalid mailbox syntax is used.

    I have tried- Reply-To: [email] also [email* your-email] nothing works?

    How do I get it to work again

    Please supply all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface (add as code or include as link to screenshots), plus a link to your form.

    This helps others to understand your actual problem and offer a possible solution.

    In mail 2 to I want the customer to be sent a email saying the we will get to them shortly. Contact form 7 updated 3 days ago. The your email does not work anymore. The [email* your email ] does not work] what is the correct thing to put in here . Why is this so complicated does no one know ?

    @sarumbear – it’s actually a valid question (even if your intentions were otherwise)

    The issue is explained & discussed in detail at ReCaptcha V3 — if g-recaptcha-response is empty, submission never be verified.

    I suspect Takayuki will indeed add a post at https://contactform7.com/ as soon he is able to complete a solid & reliable response.

    He’s done that in the past on other controversial issues like the Configuration Validator.

    It makes it easier for Takayuki (& others helping out here) to answer quickly & easily some questions that get asked repeatedly in this very active forum.

    @drownedjetsfan – if you are able to provide the info I requested above, I’m usually able to help people solve their particular email configuration problems.

    Without that info I’d just be widely guessing what is your actual problem.

    @buzztone my PS was about adding a none related topic. I couldn’t resist breaking the forum rules due to the silence of the author about the V3 debacle he has caused and continue to allow it.

    If you read my other posts you can see that I am very open on what I thought of the author’s actions. I don’t need to hide in a PS.

    in the top field where it says To

    inside the box, it says [your-email]

    this is wrong after the update and creates syntax error

    the link I was given says put email* your email

    this is wrong also.

    what is the correct input ?

    I have same problem.

    My contact from is very simple.

    FORM
    Name:
    [text* your-name]
    Email:
    [email* your-email]

    but

    Mail
    add-header :[your-email]
    Invalid mailbox syntax is used.

    Mail 2
    sender:[your-email]
    Invalid mailbox syntax is used.

    and…

    Mail is sent even if the Name is blank.
    Mail is sent even if the Email is blank.
